    Putting the helmet cam on...

Go Pro Camera made the Digital Hero 3 and it's awesome... the helmet and frame mounts arent out yet so i just used the wrist strap and strapped it onto the mouth piece of my Giro Mad Max II. Only helmet so far to get a right angle... XD Though it's a little shaky though cause of the way i mounted it. Cant wait til the mounts come out and it's gonna be awesome... video quality is awesome as you can see from this video of yesterday's ride. It's a little compressed by windows movie maker but you can still see the rocks and drains and grooves and stuff... awesome camera for the price...

glad you enjoyed it... yea after the rain, the ground was really well packed but there was leaves everywhere... Traction was just let me say... unpredictable... especially the ending of the vid... it's usually hardpack and that's it... yesterday was the first time it was loose as hell... though i could clear that hairpin but i thought wrong... hahahaha

yea... i love watching crash vids tooo.... XD It's the best however when someone's about to eat it and then pulls it off... love those...

the sound is pretty decent. Not enough bass though but no complaints. You'r not going to be able to fit speakers with good low end in a helmet... XD

I dunno the image is really clear but it doesnt seem to be very smooth. Im guessing the frame rate is too slow for how fast you are going. idk Also anyone else been having problems with mtbr? It is constantly saying server is too busy please try again later and its driving me crazy. Never used to say that too me. Its also been really slow lately.

madman - it's smooth... just being compressed by wondows movie maker on a slow laptop doesnt help it at all... and i think the ghetto mount has a thing to do with it as well... cant wait to get the helmet mount and frame mount and see what that'll do... XD

dave - Yea dude... both bails... bailed in style... Who says you cant bail with clipless? XD

I'm not sure what Tara is up for since she really only gets to hang out near the parking lot. I'm pretty much willing to ride any where, if something looks sketchy I obviously don't have too much pride to walk it. My brother was saying that Magic Carpet Ride wasn't too much more hardcore than Cinderella.

Not sure if Dave is down for the three hour out and back drive to Santa Cruz though.

Makes no difference to me, 30 minutes to Santa Cruz, 40 minutes to Oakland its all good.

Your rack is dis-assembled by the way so it really doesn't take up too much space. Just thought I'd mention that in case you were making plans around trying to get the rack home.

Brandon is going to be photo shooting Sun at JMP so Tara has someone to hang with. Tony is itching to ride Sun also, he's got the bug back from riding the Atlas. Definitely need to get some real back to back riding vid not the 1 at a time. I'll fallow mrperc off Big Trees that way if he crashes I have a soft impact. He can run me down on Cindy then. Maybe I can clear that little double this time, sprained my right ankle on it when I cased it. I need to get a permission slip in advance from my social advisor to take a Sun off plus b_m_b would never hear the end if the Mrs couldnt ride SC. I dont mind the driving for awesome trails as long as it's within my allowance.

Is mrperc getting the b_m_b rack??

I'm down for a photo session, Tara will be testing the limits of the human liver. When she heals up I'm sure that the Blitz will be put through its paces in Santa Cruz.

My buddy and I split the cost on the camera and just ordered one this week. Gets here tomorrow, says FedEx anyway, and if we like it, we're going to split the cost on a second one so we each have our own. I'll certainly do what I can to take some pics and footage for anybody else considering the purchase. Let you know!

Will bring my sockets, I think that's the only unusual tool that's necessary for mounting the rack.

Will be driving up to the top, should be there by 1:30.
