    Problem unclipping with 5.10 Minnaar

I just bought the 5.10 minnaar have used them for three rides and have a lot of problems clipping out of the pedal. I have crank brothers candy pedals. The cleats are installed on as front as they can be installed. I really love the shoes but I had some silly crashes due to unclipping.

Do I need to change to flats or do something with the pedals or cleat placement?

Clip the shoe in (without wearing it) and roll the pedal over to see what the interference is. Use a razor blade to trim away the problem area(s).
Chasing bears through the woods drunk with a dull hatchet is strongly not advised

You need to use a shim between the cleat and the shoe to sit the cleat further out in the pocket, worked a treat on my old mallets. Crank bros do a product that they call a shoeshield that works as a shim.
