    Opinion on Carnac Mtb shoes?

I've finally ground the Northwaves into dust. Considering Carnac Boreal or Krypton. Does anyone have experience with these they can share? Comfy? no heel slip? easy to use buckles that don't fall apart right away? and most important...bottoms not too slippery? I don't want anything with hard, slick tread like Sidis, but the Northwaves have been fine.

Thanks, these weren't covered on the review section of the site.

I went from Sidi Dominators to Shim. 220s

both are good but I keep telling myself next pair I'm getting 4 velcro straps like Carnac offers, with no ratcheting buckles.
