    Lycra For Clydes

I'm a big clyde and have had a horrible time finding some bike shorts that fit, so I wanted to share...

I ordered a pair of Lycra shorts from www.Aerotechdesigns.com for $30 thinking they'd be poorly made junk. But given my lack of options, and my sore butt, I figured I'd give it a shot.

They came in the mail today and I have to say, I'm impressed. They obviously aren't $80-100 shorts, but they are a serious value for the money. The seams are all very well sewn and reinforced, and the pad is branded Coolmax. For $30, they can't be beat. They go up to 3XL. They also have an 8-panel version for $5 more, and jerseys all the way up to 4XL.

The ONLY bad thing with them is they take a little while to ship. I ordered them on the 11th and got them today. I know...that's not too bad. But I've gotten used to fast shipping through Amazon!

I am partial the the shorts from Performance. They make the Century Gel in 3XL in both bibs and shorts. THey can usually be found for $30-$40 plus 20% off if there is a coupon.
