Looking for shin guard to pair with POC vpd 2.0 long knee

These pads extend about halfway down the shin and exposes the sweet spot that pedals love to bash into. Was looking for a low rise shin guard that might be able to protect that area. I would even go for soccer shin guards if theyre low enough, then I could cover em up with a sleeve or something.

Does anyone have a setup similar to this?

I should have gotten the short knee and shins so I could use the knee for aggressive xc and both for more gnarly.
There's something about those long grueling climbs that gets my front end all stiff... And I'm not talking about lockout...

Looking for shin guard to pair with POC vpd 2.0 long knee

So haven't found anything MtB wise but if anyone is looking for lightweight ahin coverage that actually fits with the vpd 2.0 long knee's - Nike mercurial light shin guards fit perfect and stay put. Sleeve is black so it's not very noticeable. Very good feel and great protection. I'm sure ill get some looks for using soccer guards but whatever. I like my bones.

    Thanks y'all.

Why didn't you just buy full length knee pads to begin with?

Looking for shin guard to pair with POC vpd 2.0 long knee

I said in the first post thy I should have gotten the knees and shin separate instead of the long knee. Just wasn't thinking. Can't return em so ill just rock em. In te meantime the soccer guards work perfect weather I look like a jackass or not.

I actually prefer separates. Originally I was going to get the long knee, but since that didn't cover the entire shin, I went for the shorter VPD 2.0 knee and added the POC shin guard. I guess the shin and the long knee would over lap, but not sure how much.

I prefer separate too and use soccer shin guards, works great and cheap when they wear out.
