Lightweight and cool back protector for XC
I recently had a crash that made me realize I am mortal so now I am on the look for a back protector. I ride XC which means it should be relatively light and not too warm. I have found these two wests with protection:
POC VPD 2
EVOC Protector west
Does anyone know if these are suitable for XC or if there are other products out there that is more suited?
Thanks in advance.
I use this think called a, uhmm, trying to remember the name.....Camelbak!
I can't find the story now, but a biker fell off a cliff, like 80 feet, landed on his/her back and wasn't harmed at all.
I will often times blow a bit of air into my Hydrapak bladder when going down sketchy terrain.

Thanks for the suggestion, but I am not looking for a backpack. I would like to use the back protector for XC races as well and do not need all the extras that a backpack with a bladder has.
