Light weight armor for my chick-recommendations?

My Lady is getting better/faster and I want want to get her padded up before the inevitable happens. I was wondering if anybody has some good recommendations on some lighter style armor(elbows and knees). She's around 5.5"-5.6" and 115lbs. Thanks

The fox launch pads might be just the ticket. I have some elbow pads and they're exactly what you're describing. I haven't used the knees, but a buddy of mine has some fox knee-shin guards for his noob wife.

If you wanted to plunk down extra cash, the POCs are top of the line protection and comfort.

Light weight armor for my chick-recommendations?

I second the G-form recommendation for elbow pads Light, less sweaty than most, and more comfortable than most. Very reasonable price. Decent protection for xc and trail. Haven't tried their lower body stuff.

My theory is that if it isn't comfortable, she isn't going to wear it. If she doesn't wear it then what's the point. G-form is the most comfortable option I've found.

Thanks everyone. I think that she will like the Gform pads. The look good and have some cool technology behind them. Thanks a bunch

My fiancée runs the G force shin pads. Note the size chart, when on the fence between sizes I would usually go smaller and stretch the fabric. In her case we did this and the shin guards never ever stretched.

Good quality stuff Id go bigger if on the fence for this brand. We are going to order her proper sized knee pads next; she stopped wearing the shin pads they are just too tight for longer rides.
