Lazy a$$ here, strap on knee pads recommendations

Hey guys, was wondering if ppl can recommend some good knee pads that you strap on instead of the majority that you slip on. I do mostly XC, but now transitioning into AM, and would like some protection for the knees. thanks!!!

Can't tell if you're being serious. But if so... you've never crashed or slapped the pedal into your shin? Are you a superhero? Can you train me?

I used RF Ambush pads last year, and agree with the review, I'm happy with em.
I went by their size chart and they fit pretty snug - so IMO if you are between sizes, go up.

gdm - what chin (shin) guards? No mention of them in the OP.
