It's starting to get cold. What to wear?

Anyone care to offer options for what to wear in the colder seasons to keep warm?

@ 45... arm and leg warmers, and maybe a thin wind vest until I got hot. full finger gloves.
< 35.... full on winter tights, and winter jersey or jacket. keep the vest handy. winter gloves. ear warmers.
< 20.... nice cozy blanket on the couch... or more layers.

arm and leg warmers, and a thin wind vest are very handy over a wide range of temps., and can be used in layers if needed. Those "buff" things seem kind of handy as well. If we start talking about precipitation in the mix, then I'd have different options... mostly not riding...
