I'm new to MTB. Are these shoes okay?

I've been looking at shoes that I can wear to class and handle the trails.

I've been thinking of getting the Five.Ten Spitfire mids.

i prefer my 5.10 freeriders over my emerica and etnies flat sole skate shoes. the extra grip is very noticeable on platform pedals.

I've been looking at the freeriders now. They look nicer.

    Thanks for the advice everyone.
