    I found this upsetting

When it comes to protective gear, spandex really doesn't compare to leather:

Whats upsetting to me are the comments to that video supporting the bike rider trying to label it as no big deal. Just another idiot biker on a mountain road.

I don't think he didn't see him, it could be target fixation but most likely, the guy just doesn't know how to operate a motorcycle, and has no business on public roads.

Either that or he absolutely hates bicyclists and thought he was a bowling ball.

Mulholland is a place i wont go on my motorbike (i have the same one in crash) or my roadie. That was a clear case of target fixation. I hope he gives up motorcycling cause he is making a bad name for us going up there and crashing let alone hurting two riders. I sure hope the cyclist recovered with no permanent damage.

You can obviously see the motorcycle moving over into the outside shoulder line, hopefully it wasn't on purpose & everyone is ok.

A classic case of target fixation. Everything was cool until he seen the cyclists. Then you see him start to stand the bike up and run wide, right at what he was looking at, the guy on the bicycle. The left foot going out at the last second is another give away to target fixation turning into frozen panic. He was riding a Suzuki SV650, a very capable little twisties bike, they even make good entry and mid class track bikes, plus he didn't look to be going much more than 50mph when he noticed the cyclists. He simply froze, closed the throttle, and coasted into what he was looking at.
Target fixation is most always the product of inexperience, and can happen on anything from a street bike in traffic, right on down to a mountain bike and a rock in the trail. If you look at it too long, your going to hit it..
