    Helmet getting a new look

Picked up the giro feature from Jensonusa.com. It was last years model so I got it fairly cheap. The bad part is, they didn't have the color I wanted so I decided to do a new look. Thought of my days in the Corps, we painted everything from our rifle to our watches. Snake skin Camo is what we used to call the color, had the supplies around the house so I figured mine as well. Let me know what you guys think.

I did that once, and when I set my helmet down to fix a flat, I couldn't find it again.

Sucked, had to ride home carefully and get a new helmet.

-Kneecap, wrap your helmet in a mesh laundry bag, I picked one up from wal-mart for$1.85. Spray paint to desired effect, I did lots of flat black with coyote (desert tan) stripes. I used krylon fusion it's what I had and it is meant for plastics (I don't know if regular spray paint will last). I also was afraid of the paint melting the foam, didn't happen. If you are thinking of doing it let me know, I will do a step by step.
-Squareback, that's horrible. I hope you didn't jinx me.
-tiSS'er, thanks. Thank you for the reinforcement, always nice to see that there is genuine people that recognize service.

I love it. A Youtube video of the process would be cool for those of us who can't even paint by numbers!
