Giro Supernatural Footbed -whats actual difference between mens vs womens sizes?

Giro makes their Supernatural footbeds in mens and womens.

Aside from them covering slightly different ranges, the largest womens 42-43.5 size seems to be closer to the range of shoe that I wear vs the mens 43-44.5.

Are womens narrower? is there any other notable sizing change?

Stock at local stores on these is really poor, I don't have a visual comparison.

It depends on the brand but most women's shoes are slightly narrower than men;s.
I think women's shoes have a relatively narrower heel/wider toe box as well as being narrower overall.

makes sense, as I have wider feet and am a tough fit usually - best to find stock to try on even if it takes till spring.
