Girlie flat pedal shoes for a girl-any recommendations?

I know that a pair of five tens or teva links would be great for her, but my wife says they're a bit clumpy looking for a girl(can't disagree)

Have seen Giro Jacket and chamber both in white, but wondered if any ladies out there (in the UK) had any suggestions?

    Thanks

Shoes are made and designed in certain ways for a reason , this isnt a fashion show or a night out. Buy the proper shoe for the proper occasion .

    It IS a fashion show!

Can't tell if your being serious or not. Gonna assume you're not, and just laugh with you.

Found some Pearl Izumi's for my girlfriend. She really likes them.

DC makes an extensive line of women's shoes... if style trumps function then it check out

Shoes for Women & Girls Sneakers | DC shoes

Vans also makes a line of hip women's shoes. If all you're looking for is a slim feminine looking shoe... Van's has an extensive line (never owned a pair myself but I've seen the odd rider wearing them at the bike parks)

Personally I wear 5/10s for dh (comfy, protective, robust and grippy) and Teva for trail riding (multifunctional, less bulky and very comfy)

Show her some shin burger pictures and see if she's still willing to sacrifice function for form.

No , i was being serious actually .. Maybe its not important to you or your wife but to me its important that i have a shoe or shoes that fit the job and would recommend it to everyone . I guess it all depends on the type of trails your riding as well tho .

Look at approach shoes? More options, same sticky rubber, and good foot protection.

Shes riding in a pair of pearl izumi shoes at the moment. They're spd compatible, with a sole a bit like a walking she, but she is riding on dmr vaults. They're about half a size too small, after wearing for a year, and they are lethally slippy in the wet.

I ride 5 10 Vxi, but they're too boyish for her, and if I'm honest, too sticky.

She rides on tarmac and gravel cycle paths almost exclusively, never gets air, and never takes risks.

So, a pair of teva links or similar in subtle colours would suit her great. Sadly, I do not believe they exist!

Check out the 5.10 guide tennie. My GF has those along with the teva links and prefers them when she doesn't want to feel "clunky". Same 5.10 rubber so they work great for flat pedals
