    Getting Troy Lee shorts clean

Just purchased and worn a pair of flo green TLD ruckus shorts three times and already have a dirt stain that won't wash out! Anyone got any tips on keeping this type of short looking box fresh - aware its mountain biking and there is dirt involved but as its organic and not oil or grease I was hoping they'd be a bit more easy to care for.

Wear those stains as a badge of awesomeness!

I've heard borax works well for removing sweat stains and smell but not sure about dirt. Maybe just try soaking them.
Hey guys, lets go play bieks!

I have the same shorts in green and orange and they both have their share of stains on them, but yeah i have to agree with with SpeshulEd were those stains as badges of awesomeness, as it shows that they actually get used.

I just bought a pair of the green Ace shorts and am hoping they stain up quickly. I swear if I stare at them long enough my eyes will burst into flames lol. I'm tempted to try some black dye on them to tame them down some.

Are you presoaking/spraying them? Washer and detergent isn't gonna really do it by itself, especially HE machines. It's pretty standard technique for mud-stained clothes. In NY, I got in the habit of hosing down my clothes when I hosed down my bike (not necessarily while still wearing it), and washing it then so the stain wouldn't set.
