Are EPU helmets just as safe?

I bought a new Prowell EPU helmet after smashing my old one in a crash. It says on the box it's 100-1000x denser than EPS helmets.
It's RRP is 69.99 CE approved and it's got a good build quality, (very hard foam)
I was just wondering if it's so hard that they might not even compress on a slow crash to slow down the impact time? Could it also be a bit more dangerous for your neck?

I don't know much about it hoping someone on here does.

    Thanks in advance.

Unfortunately, the foam in helmets, generally, don't compress enough to give really good impact protection. I doubt this is any worse.

So you're saying that EPS helmets don't compress much on impact either?
That's surprising I think. they work very well still, I crashed head first into a tree and didn't even get bruised.
