    Biking Shoes?

What are some good mtb shoes available today? I am looking for something that looks like a normal shoe not some goofy looking deal with a whole bunch of straps. Any suggestions?

I bought a pair of Specialized Rockhopper Cycling Shoes.
They kinda look like a pair of approach shoes, but are very rigid in the sole.
If you're ever in Calgary, here are the bike shops I like:

    The Bike Shop

Shimano used to/still does? make some nice lace up shoes not much different from tennies.
Why do u think straps r goofy looking? Try Lake. Awesome.

i like the cannondale arago (mc 900)...

i've worn them for a couple of years now. very comfy and they look like trail running shoes. maybe not as light as more traditional bike shoes but they work for me..here's a link, but i'm not sure whether cannondale still makes them...

Take a look at "Lake" shoes.

I have the Lake MX-101 for the same reasons you have stated above.
