    pearl izumu cyclones

work great at 35 deg. total freedom in grip, they feel like summer full fingers but actually keep hands warm, which is odd because they don't initially look like much of a thermal glove

get some cheap pogies (these work fine and CHEAP)
Amazon.com: ScootR Logic SLHM-1 Hand Mitts (Pair): Sports & Outdoors

and those cyclones are good to 10 degrees

your mileage may vary due to how [hard you ride]x[hours in the cold]

At 35F you mostly just need something to block the wind, with maybe just a tiny bit of insulation. I have some Louis Garneau fleece gloves that work pretty well, but something like the Cyclones above would be good too.

I've gone ahead and pulled the trigger on a pair of cyclones. Will let everyone know how they work out!

As long as you have something to block the wind, you can put on cheap, thin, cotton gloves underneath for warmth.

I have found that deerskin leather gloves are better than any cycling specific gloves. They have good grip and keep your hands warm without being bulky. I rode the other day when it was in the high teens and my hands never got cold. A bonus is you don't need to carry extra gloves for the drive home.

Just rode this morning....was about 35 out. Wore my cyclones...they worked fine. Will say any colder and you may want a bit more insulation.

I'm using Specialized Deflect gloves. I've been using them since October and they do a good job of keeping my hands warm. Specialized markets them as good down to 45 degrees but they have kept my hands warm when the temps have been in the 20s.

The best cold weather gloves I've bought are Planet Bike's Borealis. Semi-lobster, with removable fleece liners you can use or omit depending on temps. Best cold weather riding gear: Pogies or mitts. Super easy DIY project made from old winter jackets. I use lightweight gloves with mine, even at 10F. Plenty warm.

Another vote for the Pearl Izumis. I like mine so much Im actually wearing them as my every day winter gloves for when Im going to be out for awhile. Did a 2 hour hike today in mid teens with 25mph wind and my hands never got cold.

Love my Pearl Izumu Cyclones for colder weather rides. Keep my hands both warm and dry.
