    Apres Ride shoes

After viewing the beer thread it looks like the Turner crew needs to invest in a pair of the Reef Fanning Sandals.

They have a built in beer bottle opener in the bottom

    Nothing to see here.

the flip-flop then loses all value to me. I'd throw it in the ocean, where some poor bottle-nosed dolphin would get the strap caught around it's beak, and then it would slowly d....

I got em too (for Christmas). The soles are a little too stiff for me. I much prefer the plain normal Reef sandals.

That is hot - do they make a slide that has that on the sole as well? I hate those things between my toes...but a slide would work nicely

I bought a pair of these last spring. Love them. Funny I just found this thread, as I busted them out yesterday to drive to a ride. First time for the season.
With practice you can flip the sandal off your foot, catch it, open your choice of beverage, drop the sandal and catch it on your foot.

    Hey Aqua,

They also have an SPD version, with or without a bottle opener.

it is NOT "international talk like a pirate day", gonz. thats in the fall sometime if i remember it right.

im sportin either salomon xa pro xcr gore tex pull lace trail runnin shoes, the shimano spd sandles or my beloved keen newport ho's. all depends on weather and mood. i always have my kona bottle opener on hand even though it may not be as stiff or efficiant as the reefs.

im glad you asked! seems i was wrong about the stiffness of the kona hand held, otherwise the numbers were just as i suspected they would be. thanx to my pal reginold at the United States Union of Kegs for doin the analysis for me.
