    Anyone use Multi-Sport Helmet?

I like the coverage of multi-sport helmets and wanted to know if anyone uses them for riding. If so, what brand/model do you use?

Multi sport helmets do not always meet the same testing standards that cycling specific helmets do FWIW.

I have a buddy that uses one, but only because he's a cheap SOB, and I gave it to him! He hasn't died of head trauma yet.

Pro Tec Classic. I have a Giro Hex also but I like the fit and feel of this way better. I feel safer in it too, better coverage

Giro Flak. Only helmet that fits my head and that I feel safe in.
At the end of the day, my bike is a bike, whether its made for XC singletrack or DH, I can make it do what I want.

I use a Giro snowbird helmet (G 9?) and before that the Giro Semi which was a striped down version of a snow helmet. I, too, like the increased coverage.

Can visors be found for these kinds of helmets? I have one and want to mount a visor to it.

I have a Flak too, ordered it without trying it on first. Fits me weird, I have a funky melon I guess.

Some of the Giros have visors. I just toss them.

You can use a thin-running style-ball cap also.
