Im considering Wtb KOM 26" I23 rims. I got some inspiration from DH/slope style riders using Mavic Crossmax SX as front wheel. That Mavic wheel is another alternative which seems good for tubeless setup in front.
For rear, I might hold 823/Hadley as reserve and experiment with tube setup, filled with stans aka Brendan from Scott dh.
Will it be too crazy if I use DT Super Comp in front and Sapim CX ray in rear with 20/150mm hubs for dh/aggresive enduro. Im relatively light 70kg and switch wheelset between enduro and dh bikes. Schwalbe normal tires will be used.
It will be interesting to figure out ratio of weight/durability. For example, using heavier spokes and brass nipples in order to balance out lighter rim. I dont mind to get some dents and replace each second year at best.
How are drilled holes working for alloy nipples without eyelets? Still I should opt for brass for strength (preventing snap-off)?
