What 2015 trail bike would you buy right now?

If you could pick your dream trail bike what would it be? List your top 3 if it's a close call. Or your top 5 if you want them all.

If you have a reason for your choice go ahead and say why.

I'm more interested in efficient trail bikes that also go up well and can jam on the flats but interested in everyone's answers.

    Cool-blue Rhythm

It's hard to find a bad bike these days, they are all great, mostly...

I ride a Scott because one of my Local bike shops sell them.
The other two, one is a Trek dealer and the other is a Giant Dealer.

So there are my three brands, Scott, Trek, Giant,, In no particular order.

My Scott Spark Works for me...

I was on the site in the mid to late 90s before they had a login and permanent user name and forgot my name when they made the switch. Then I had very serious health problems and had to stop riding. I'm doing better and want to get back at it.

I actually just got a '15 Scott Spark 710 as it was close to what I used to ride. But I'm intrigued with the newer geometries and curious what others like for a trail bike. I'm in Florida and Demos are far and few between. Maybe I will have to go on vacation so I can test ride some of these newer trail machines because I haven't seen anything locally.

I might not need one but I like to go fast and take gnarly lines as well as jump/manual natural features. I would like to at least check them out and don't want to miss out if they are more fun to ride. I am a bit bored but also want to know what others want/like to give me some ideas. There are getting to be tons of brands available these days and many I've never heard of.

Bikes like the Transition Scout and Kona Process 134 offer a good balance of xc speed and jumpy playfulness. Both have "modern" geometry with longer top tubes and short rear ends.

What 2015 trail bike would you buy right now?

    Turner Flux
    Specialized Enduro
    Salsa Spearfish Carbon

If I lived somewhere that wasn't so damn flat I'd love the Enduro. I rented a Spearfish in Arkansas and was impressed. But the Flux has been my dream bike since the latest version was released. I finally pulled the trigger in December and it's in my garage. XX1. XTR brakes. Just waiting for my Nox wheels with I9 hubs to be built and my dream bike will be ready to go.

    1. REEBDikyelous
    2. Yeti 575
    3. Yeti SB6

I now own the first 2. REEB is a hardtail, 29'er, SS that has a trail geometry. Just phenomenal. Efficient and forgiving. So. Much. Fun.
The 575 is so good I can't fathom changing. If I need to pull out a geared, FS bike this is it.
SB6 because the 575 is so good the latest Yeti offering must be better.
All the above are built and tested in my backyard so perfect for my application.
    I'm gone, Mangk!

Just got my dream/go-to bike, Pivot Mach 6 XX1.

    Another two? Hmmmm....

Stumpy FSR or Enduro 29 maybe. Something full squish for capability, but 29 for better XC type speed.

    and

    ....

    damn, so many good choices...

    ...um...

Probably some kind of HT or rigid singlespeed. Maybe 650+ wheels for mud bogging and other fatbikish type riding.
Live like there's no tomorrow. But pay your bills just in case there is.

Burner is no fought an amazing bike but the geometry doesn't quite fit me. My stubby legs have limited my choices😥
I got some bad ideas in my head.
