Urgent help - sizing advice on a YT Wicked 160LTD

    Hi all,

I know it is hard to recomend a size when you cant see the person, but im considering a YT Industries 160LTD and cant sit on the bike before I buy it.

Im 6ft-1, 16.5 stone, lean build.

    I currently ride a:
    Giant Anthem X4
    Top tube length - 595mm

I love the bike but I'm on the boarders of being better suited to a Large size Anthem (top tube 600mm) but live comfortably on the medium at 595mm. I quite like the small frame under me.

Initially I intended on a large YT Wicked 160 at 630mm top tube length.

YT only have medium at 600mm top tube length

Even though the top tube length on the medium YT medium is 5mm longer than my Anthem, it will be much less XC focused than my Giant Anthem.

Will I be comfortable on this?

Probably. Consider the different stem lengths, too. Actually, do this: make a table that compares all of the important geometry metrics between the two and think it over

Compare the reach, not the TT. Differing seat angles can change the reach between bikes with the same tt.
