Listen! upgrades for my meta 5.5.3 2009

    hi there!

    i have a meta 5.5.3 2009.

    http://www.evanscycles.com/products/...-bike-ec017320

i want to make these tweaks:

    1. i want to put a 203 mm disc rotor in the front and take the 185 (that is now in front) and put it in the back brake.

first off, should i buy a G3 or a G2 rotor? secondly is the 203 mm rotor compatible with the revelation or does it need an adaptor? same for the rotor in the back (185mm)

    2. i want to put a thru axle in the rear wheel to add some stiffness. is it a good thought? does the rear end accept a thru axle? if yes, does the rear hub take a thru axle? if not, could you reccommend a good and cheap hub?

    3. also i'd like to put a chain guide, so i found this:

    http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/M...?ModelID=50905

does anybody soeen this? does it work?

    thank you! Wink Wink

If you have, ISCG tabs and it has the, ISCG option, yes. If you don't have, ISCG tabs and see that there is an option for the BB, yes.
I give positive rep all around but then I get negative rep from all the clowns.

1.) Yes. Both can be done. You will need an adapter for the front and back. If you don't already have them. Rev. can use max. 203

    G3 rotor(s) is lighter than the G2.

2.) I think you can use a rear through axle. Someone should be able to chime in on the hub part.

If you want a chain guide. Don't pay that amount of money. Check these out as an example. Blackspire Stinger Chain Guide should work.

best he can do with that hub if a bolt on not bolt through. this means the axle will be fixed in the hub and clamp on to the drop out using nuts. take the big ring off and you can use a stinger, if you want to stick with a triple though i think the e13 is your only option.
