    upgrade shock for reign 2

i have a giant reign 2 from 2005. i currently have a fox rp3 with no mid stroke(heard that it was half the cost of a new shock just to fix it) and am wanting to upgrade to a new shock. i was thinking that i could go with a fox dhx coil, but i am not sure if it will fit. any help or ideas. looking for a good coil shock preferably.

this is a common question and the answer could be found with a search... anyhow, the only coil shocks that fit is the pre 08 fox vanilla r shock.

Welcome Sizemore! tkblazer is right, 07 and older Vanilla r's are the only option for a coil. I sent my RP3 for my 05 Reign to PUSH industries to have it custom tuned and it performs amazingly well. I would suggest you go this route if you can't find a Van in the right size.
    Bike good, work bad.

I love my 07 Roco Air on my 05 Reign 3. it is soo much better than the swinger 3 way. its more plush and it feels bottomless since there's no SPV. an it tracks much better on the trail.

If I ever come across one of those clean in an XL at a good price, one that's been ridden, but not ridden to death, I'm going to jump on it.
