Triton Ti AM Hardtail build. Help me with the geo.
I have a frame on order with Triton, but im not really sure what geo i want.
I ordered a trials frame from Triton, but they can't build it, so i have the option to change it to a AM frame. Thats why im asking about geo, i would be perfectly happy with some OneOne or Ragley but i can't get the refunds from Triton and i can't get my trials frame so i might aswell just order another frame.
The riding i do is mainly downhill in rough sections. I push hard and i have no problems following the standard FS AM rider at all.
I do mostly push up the mountains, but i would like to have the possibility to climb one aswell.
I owned the last generation Ragley BluePig and i was really happy with that.
I could get the feeling that i wanted a slacker HA angle, i think that was 67*
On-One Ti 456 Evo Frame
This is the geo i think i want.
Do anyone have something to say about this?
Why can't you get a refund from Triton? I did and it was a friendly process.
He is only offering to pay in instalments.
I want everything at once if im choosing a refund
In that case, since you're helping him out by not taking the refund, you should get something for your trouble, like an upgrade of some sort.

They can't build the frame you want, and they won't issue you a full refund?
Sounds like cr@p to me...
That said, a head angle around 67 is nice for an all-mountain hardtail running a 160mm fork. Any slacker than that is kind of a chore to climb.
And travel adjust in the fork is nice for climbing, too.
Okey, so a 66deg is a hassle to climb?
There are some issues with building the frame yes.
The AM frame is more expensive than the frame i ordered, and i ordered some special dropouts for that frame. So he will be stuck with the stupid dropouts, and i will get the frame cheaper. Altough, i have waited for the frame i ordered for 16months now.
that sucks. refund should be in full as soon as you decided not to wait for trials frame.

I want to stop this long time story.
I don't want people to read about these 16 months and think it has something to do with the frames we currently build on a regular basis.
Because it has nothing to do with them.
