    tough choice, please help

I am looking at buying a used Stumpy from 2010 and I have 2 options.
    i'm 6'2.5 and ~200lbs with a 34"inseam

    1) STUMPJUMPER FSR EXPERT CARBON (XL) for $2600
    or
    2)Stumpjumper FSR Expert (L) for $2200

both are close to stock and in great shape. is the carbon frame worth the extra 400? and will the XL fit better then the L?

Carbon is always sexy. But in terms of size, if you prefer the uphill over the downhill, I'd say go for the XL. You will have a roomier cockpit to adjust yourself fore and aft while climbing without running the risk of being limited by your knees/handlebars. If you ride up for the sole reason that you get to rip back down, go with the L. You'll appreciate the higher amount of leverage you have over a smaller frame when going fast through rock gardens or on steeps.
