Tomac Eli 2005 frame. Any opinions?

I am thinking of buying this frame, but I read that some frames are breaking at the "noodle" weld points. Anyone ride an "Eli"? I am wondering if this is just a fluke or that alot of them have these issues. I 'd really want to hear from someone who has been riding this frame for more than a year.

    Thanks,

Out of production with no warranty/spare parts support. Look elsewhere.
    Nothing to see here.

Yes they look like a good all mountain/endro frame.
I saw a guy with one and within six months he had cracked his frame and had it welded up. This guy doesnt jump his bike but he has broken xc frames before.

If it was supercheap and you are light and you dont jump it should be ok.

If there is still someone honoring the warranty and it's dirt cheap then it might be worth it. Any frame can be broken, it's how easy it is to replace that is important.
