... and if we just ... stems

I just got my Nomad and I want a good stem with a rise. Unfortunately I have a wonderful thompson 70mm 0 degree rise with a FSA Downhill 2inch riser bar. The Bar is a 25.4 not a 31.8. I want to keep this bar. Thompson does Not Make a rise at this length in my bar size. They do have a 70mm with 10degree rise in 31.8. My Question is Who out there Makes a good Stem with 10 to 15mm rise, more like 12mm 15mm with 70mm length for a handle bar 25.4?
I have no sterer length left for more spacers, fyi.
    Any suggestions would be apreciated.
    Thanks,
    M.C.tigre

    Ad-Vice is adjustable rise.

I checked Thomson's site and the 70 does not come with rise. Good luck.
I got some bad ideas in my head.

    Travis,
for 07 they do have a 70mm with 10 degree rise for 31.8 handle bar not 25.4. That is my delima. I talked with a rep yesterday about this.
I love the way this stem is made, the Thompson that is.
    Take care,

Can you not use the 0 degree Thomson with a few spacers to get your bar in the right position. I did that with my X4. The only problem could be that your steerer is cut to short.

I guess I kind of missed that. I didn't know what a "sterer" is!

Ive got a Delta 80mm with a 45 degree rise Love it..gives me like 2 inches of rise...and since the top part is basically welded close to the steerer (due to the intense angle)...its basically a 40-50mm
    8 is great

    who needs dictionaries anymore...

After all this talk of short stems, I just pulled a 90mm and replaced it with a 110. I guess I fancy a trip over the bars!!! Actually, I'm going to compare it with respect to climbing and hammering in the cockpit (no pun intended Ronnie). I often change things and never change back just to see what a switch is like bothways.
