    Spec or Giant or Kona

I`m a little bit stuck on which bike to choose from
I`m limited as I can only get them from 1 shop

I`ve narrowed it down to possibly

Kona, Process 153 2015 Mountain Bike from only 2,899.00. Free UK Delivery | Wheelies
    Spec or Giant or Kona-full73064.jpg

Trance SX 27.5 (2015) | Giant Bicycles | United States
    Spec or Giant or Kona-trance-sx-27.5-grayish-green.jpg

    or Enduro Elite
    Spec or Giant or Kona-elite_enduro2015.jpg

    Or maybe the Giant Reign
    Spec or Giant or Kona-cb1d9ec9cd377fac70cb28743f633cbd.jpg

Any help would be appreciated. I can get Orange or la Pierre from the shop but been advised to give them a miss.
    thanks

Get one of the three bikes with 1x11. The Kona doesn't have as good specs as the others, and its probably substantially heavier then the other options. Depends what riding you are planning on doing. The Reign would be the most aggressive option, followed by the Specialized. The Trance SX would be good bike for diverse riding (You can drop the fork, and do some more xc with it, or ride aggressive stuff). It all depends upon budget and hat you're planning to ride.

I have to get my bike from
Mountain Bikes | Mountain Bikes for Sale | Mountain Bike| Wheelies

I have 3200 to spend there but can add a few hundred quid of my own if I like.
    Unfortunatly no Santa Cruz.
With the kona I wil lstill have 400 to play with so could upgrade a few parts.

I`ll be doing mainly DH riding but obviously no real uplifts so need it to get up.

I notice a lot of UK and Euro bike shops offer financing prominently on their sites. I wouldn't be surprised if US shops offered it as well, but I don't recall ever seeing an advert for it.

The Reign actually comes with few Giant components (Depending on which model you get). If you get the top tier Aluminum model ($5500), you will get a Reverb post, DT Swiss wheels, Pike RTC3, Monarch Plus Debonair, and a 1x11. Also, anyone who prefers Deore over 1x11 (price aside) is soft in the head.

Yeah they will but for 1800
If i do that the missus will want an engagement ring.
Plus I get 25% discount on any money i add to the purchase

So I`ll opt for the 3200 from wheelies

Get the Kona. Then convert it to a 1 X with a ring and a cassette from wolf tooth for around 110. Then get awesome.
the going won't get good 'til I'm good and gone

I have the Kona 153 2014. absolutely amazing bike. Comes with Pike, deore hubs which are very reliable, and Maxxis tires. It climbs OK and the HR2 don't make it any easier, but trust me those extra 10 minutes on the climb are worth it. If the 2014 bombs, 2015 should even be better since its a bit better spec'd in my opinion.

If you get the Kona and still have some cash to spare, I'd get XT brakes and a nice set of shorts or a new helmet.
