    Songs that get you pumped!

So I've been riding for a few months now, and notice that there are a few songs I listen to when I wanna psych myself up to do something new/harder. I wanted to see what everyone listens to to get themselves ready for a good ride!

Here is a few of mine:
    Rock:
    Incubus "Blood on the ground"
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UL1m4hZx3FM

    Incubus "Nowhere fast"
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iB_Ajfe1H2w

    The Vines "Ride"
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yYfnf6ydcb0

Rage "Sleep now in the Fire"
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jz8wU9DdbqU

    Rage "War Within a Breath"
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RY5vTcLBnNk

    Techno:
    Pendulum "Different"
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uVTzkVVsXus

    Pendulum "Propane Nightmares"
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YZBQMJlVXyc

and last but not least... Not only is this the best song ever this video puts everything else to shame! "It was the freshest move I've ever seen.. like he was floating on air!"
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oMLCrzy9TEs

Anyone else? Post up some of your fav songs to jam. If anything it will give people a good list of music to look up and start listening to

    Just kidding...

This song gets me goin though...

And from looking at your list of bands...This is the same song from somebody you may have heard of, but not nearly as good in my opinion.

I only ride bikes to fill the time when I'm not skiing.

Anything from The Collective or New World Disorder series of films (except the hip-hop...not my cup of tea). I like to imagine i can actually do something remotely interesting on a bike! Ha!

In general i have a pretty big mix from punk to heavy metal. Over 4 and a half hours on the iPod which makes those solo rides a bit more bearable and keeps me going

On the drive to the trails I usually blast all sorts of Death/Black/Thrash/Grindcore...The woman hates it cuz 1) She doesn't like the aforementioned genres and 2) I start out on the trails like a rocket a drop her in 30 seconds.

I always get pumped when I listen to Beastie Boys, but there´s one song that isn´t very popular that blows my mind: Stand Together, from Check Your Head.
There´s a live performance they did on Glasgow (99), you can look for it on You Tube, in which they display skills I honestly think are unmatched to this day. The tracks they perform are: Super Disco Breakin´, Flute Loop and Rootdown, in that order with an intro done by their DJ Mix Master Mike. If you like the Beasties do yourself a favor, look for it on You Tube and prepare yourself...

Hey 53119 if you like Rootdown, you need to hear the sickest version of that song, they did it a concert for Tibetan Freedom... It´s a song that puts them on a different level...

That's awesome! I freakin' love Break the Ice and Thunder in Your Heart. Everyone always makes so much fun of me when they hear those two songs. They obviously didn't see Rad as a kid so they don't remember how pumped they were. LOL.
