    Sektor RL or Revelation RLT?

Building a bike and trying to choose a fork (150mm-160mm) around the $500 mark. Terrain is mostly dirt, roots and rocks with no big drops or jumps. So far looking at the Rockshox Sektor RL solo air or the Revelation RLT

Which is better or more suited to my terrain?

    Thanks

    Dean

well the rlt is better but the rl is close to the same performance for a lot less coin. on the rl you lose the floodgate and a few clicks of lsc, unless you are a suspension tinkerer or have to have the exact perfect dialed setup id go for the rl. both share the same chasis i think.

btw the rl has 5 clicks of lsc while the rlt has 10 i think. or maybe its 6/ 12.

The RCT3 compression damper should also drop right into either one of those forks, I'd buy the cheaper of the 2 and then upgrade the damper.

Don't want to make things more complicated but... take a look at X-Fusion forks. I've been riding a 140mm Velvet for the last month and loving it so far.

FYI, if you decide to go with the above-quoted route, here's a forum discussion that might be useful: RS Sektor: TK Comp unit to Revelation RCT3

I've looked at the x-fusion forks and they have been recommended to me several time but I cannot find one within budget ($500) at 150mm travel.
