Seatpost grease - white, bearing, other?

Installing a new CB Joplin on a Stumpjumper. What's the best grease type for the seatpost? The instructions say "light grease". We happen to have white grease on hand. Is that fine or is it worth a trip to the LBS to pick up some bearing grease or something else?

    Thanks!

Anything that will stay on really, it's just a light coat to prevent chemical interaction between post and frame.

White Lithium Grease should be perfect.
