    RM Slayer with coil shock

    Hey, figured I post here rather than RM forum since I'll probably get more responses.

    I was thinking about taking my RP23 w/BV off my 12 RM Slayer and putting on a coil shock. Has anyone done this?? What were the results? I'm not concerned about weight, and I would only be concerned about climbing if there is a big difference.

    I've heard AM riding with coil is great, but haven't done it myself...

    skawt-1 over on Pinkbike did it to his Slayer. I am thinking of doing the same. He says it rides well.
    Could PM him over there for some details.

    Did you search in the RM bikes forum.

    My last bike had a different suspension design, one with a mini link or dual link. I bought a super nice one that was rumored to pair amazing with the frame. Despite all that I still went back to my trusty monarch

    I have recently developed the opinion that coil fork and air shock makes for the best setup
