    reverb hose-used brake line?

I am going to replace the hose on my reverb, I have an avid elixir brake sitting around and I would like to salvage the hose from that to use on my reverb. Anyone think using a brake line with residual brake fluid will jack up the reverb???

if your reverb doesn't call for that type of fluid, don't put it in there, even in small amounts. DOT fluid is notorious for eating things like seals and spacers that weren't designed to withstand it.

Found the reverb replacement hose kit for $10.78 on Amazon. Guess it's better to be safe than sorry.

Too bad I can't just buy a Lev instead...
