Raceface Next vs Sixc carbon bars

I am looking at what appears to be the older sixc carbon bars and the newer Next 3/4 carbon bars. The. Next is about 40g lighter but other than that, what is the difference? Was RF able to keep the strength and cut some added weight on the newer Next bars?

    Thanks.

Are you referring to the 1st generation Sixc bars which were 725mm wide? If so, I don't know how those ones compare to the current Next carbon bars, I'd think the Sixc is stronger & stiffer but technology may have changed enough to even things out. If it's a 785mm wide Sixc then the difference is a)it's wider, and b)it's stiffer & stronger.

I have the New Sixc on the DH bike and the old Sixc was on the DH bike. They seem about the same sweep and rise and likely strength. They were over built.

I also have the new Next 3/4 and they are not any weaker I would expect. I ride hard on Seymour and Fromme and have no concerns about the bar.
