You should check with Avy for your RC4.

I did check with avy but decided to go push. Avy wanted to practically make a different shock out of it and that is not what I needed. I just wanted to get a little tuning out of the RC4 since it's already a really good shock for me.
Why do you say avy over push?

I've had really good luck and performance with Craigs service at Avalanche. I like the Speed Sensitve dampering over the Position dampering that Fox uses.
But with that being said I guess Push now offers Speed Sensitive tuning when applicable for certain frames and rider weight.
Both Avy and Push will be much better over a stock shock. Enjoy you custom tuned shock when you get it back!

    Push

I got the full factory rebuild. New internals and whatever else they do. I'm going to test it out this Friday on some local trails that have a bit of everything from rocks to smooth flow, to a small jump line. I also just got my shock back from fox for a full rebuild under warranty.

I've been happy with all 3 shocks I've had Pushed, and both the 888 and Swinger 6 way that Avy re-worked for me. I'd say you can't go wrong either way.

Did they happen to send back the old internals. I assumed they were going to because they did with my dhx 5 mx. But they didn't do that this time. Not that I was going to use them. Just wanted to see them.
