    Orbea sate(26) or Trek Marlin(29er)

I wanted to buy a bike but i am confused in choosing among the two.. (26) Orbea Sate link ... 29er Trek Marlin 29er.link
I am beginner in driving off roads. The bike will be mainly used in city roads and off-roads on weekend. The trails here are hard and involves quick turns.. it should be suitable for elevation too.. please suggest after reviewing both.
A bit of guidance will be appreciated. Thanks in advance

    1. Post in the beginners section.
    2. Google.com for reviews about both or use the SEARCH button on this site.
    3. Visit your LBS to test ride both bikes and explain your riding style.

The best bike to you is , what fits your budget , your most comfortable with , and which bike gets the job done better for you . 26 V 29 both have their weakness and strengths . So pick what best for you .

Just get the Marlin. You'll probably love it, and even if you don't - it will be easier to sell a 29er hardtail than a 26er.

OK - I just looked up the Sate on Orbea's site, and that bike is seriously junky. The Marlin isn't a huge jump better, but it is better. It will also be more fun to ride and easier to sell (29" wheels) if you want to upgrade down the road. So, if you can swing it, the Marlin is better all around. If you can't afford the Marlin, the Orbea Sate will do, but it's a heavy, low-end, out-dated bike.
