Non QR Skewers / Bolt on Skewers for MTB

Can anybody recommend some really strong bolt-on type skewers, mostly for local trail centre stuff where I do a lot of jumps/drop offs but rarely more than three feet and I'm not a fan of quick release skewers.

I was thinking about the longer verson of the Halo ones but apparently their not strong enough for jumps?

If anybody can help point me in the right direction I'll be eternally greatful

The Halo ones will break and are weak. Had them break on my commuter road bike so I wouldn't trust them for more.

Can your hubs convert to any thing? If so, can you convert to 10mm and use the DT skewer? If nicer hubs you may also be able to get threaded 6mm bolt inserts for your hubs (hopes, hadley, kinds). What about converting to solid axle (cheap shimanos and others will do this?
