Nipple size vs. spoke wrench - the Super B round one.

    Greetings,
Just rounded off two nipples truing the front wheel & decided it was time to get a better spoke wrench. The 3.2mm slot in the Round spoke wrench that came with my Super B kit appears to point to the black or .127" Park Tool wrench I am looking to buy.

Directly across from the 3.2mm slot (on the round spoke wrench that came with Super B) is a 15G slot that fits the spoke nipples as well. Does that mean my bicycle uses 15G spokes?

Because according to the spec sheet on my bike the spoke gauge is 14g.

The Spec sheet for the bike has not been wrong yet & I have replaced almost everything on the bike in the past year, except the spokes. So more than likely I am just confusing myself with the round spoke wrench from Super B.

I'll also be purchasing some new nipples but had no idea there were so many to choose from. Will a standard set of 2.0 x 12mm brass nipples suffice? That is assuming my spoke gauge is 14g.

    Thank you

Here's another one showing 15G as 3.2 mm?:
    DuoSpoke Wrench, 14G/15G

    That is confusing.

I am going to assume (& a little more research for confirmation) that there is not a great deal of correlation between spoke thickness & nipple dimension. The Wheelsmith nipples I am looking @ use a .127" wrench whatever the spoke thickness is, 14 or 15 gauge.
