Need help please with RaceFace Single Ring narrow/wide

Hi. I'm planning on buying a Raceface Single Ring (9/10/11 SPEED) NARROW/WIDE. How do I determine if I have Regular tab thickness (BETWEEN 3.3-3.85mm) crank or fat tab crank (4.5mm)? I don't know what to measure exactly. Also, how do I know if I need Carbon or Aluminum tabs? THanks

Carbon vs. aluminum? Metal will feel cooler to the touch and make a different sound when you tap it. They look different.

Thank you for the photos Snofoilhat! It helped!

Here are some photos of my ring that I removed. I also removed bash guard. Should I go with the 36t? I have been using 38t in the trails that I ride and it's been fine for me. I ride technical trails in Markham with climbs.

Also looking at my tabs in the photo. It appears to be alluminum. I tried tapping on it and feeling it but had a hard time deciding if it's carbon or aluminum.

I think you need to re-read what you typed to find your answer to the material that your crank is made of and go with then tabs that match.

The removable spiders on SRAM cranks are made of Aluminum.
