    My new Toy

I got this baby for really cheap. So far no complaints, it is a really nice and well balanced bike. Felt stopped making the this year, but if you can find one I strongly recommend buying it.

Thanks for the reply. MSRP is $3500, but I got mine for $2400. It climbs really well. The Equilink System is amazing. It climbs like a XC bike, but bombs down the hills like a DH/FR bike. As far as the rear shock its a FOX DHX air 3.0, and yes I have heard the horror stories about them. No problems with the shock yet, but I am waiting for it to break so I can upgrade.

Well I've had a DHX Air 3.0 for a year now and it's still going strong. Never blew or needed ANY specific maintenance. A DHX Air 5.0 should be arriving sometime this month. I actually love the shock but don't have adjustable propedal (I often do very techincal or long uphills.. need adjustable propedal) and I'm hoping that the 5.0 has the same overall feel, no horror stories whatsoever..

    cheers, Luigi

Keep your eye on the linkage bolts on those. They like to come loose. It's one of the problems Felt fixed for the new models. Sweet toy!

I've been beating the **** out of my DHXAir 3.0 on 3 to 7 hour descents for over a year now and it runs sweet. The lack of adjustable pro-pedal is a bit of a bummer, but I think a bit of technique makes up for that. I outclimb most of our guys here on Nomads with 5.0s on my Coilair!

Ride it like you stole it!
