my psychic powers are a little off today. maybe posting a picture and/ or description of what actually happened would be useful.

It appears that you are trying to link to a picture that is an email attachment in one of your gmail messages.

That successfully shows us a little box with a red X in it.

Try just attaching the picture to your post.

Describe as best as possible which piece in this picture that is broken and someone will be able to help you.

Prob. not the same model but it helps.
I give positive rep all around but then I get negative rep from all the clowns.

So what part broke? I can't see the photo either.

Btw, if it isn't your frame that broke, your bike didn't die. It's also not the derailleur's fault if you rode over stuff and it kicked up into your drivetrain. No need for drama queen stuff.

You mentioned that it might be the hanger. The hanger isn't necessarily part of the derailleur, and can be replaced SUPER easily and for cheap. It just connects the derailleur to the frame. It's designed to fail before killing your frame and possibly saving your derailleur in the process. No biggie if it broke or bent.

I've had incredibly good luck with SRAM thus far. My X-9 performs light years better than my Shimano XT ever did.

14 I believe. It's not the first time he hasn't made any sense at all.

You probably just broke your hanger. Does the part you broke look something like this?
