monarch plus debonair on nomad 2c (2011)??

    Hi guys,

I have a Nomad 2c with rp23. But the propedal doesn't work so I was thinking if instead of fix it, buying a monarch plus debonair (there are some good prices).
Although I have found only M/M.

My first question is about the compression tune. I read that the best tune is M/L but I'm not sure, seeing the leverage ratio curve it seems that for nomad 1 it's true but without the push link, the nomad 2 would be better with tune Medium. What tune is better?, are a great difference between the two tunes? ( My weight is 75-77kg).

The second question, is it well worth?, will it be better for climbing (because the three positions) and for down hill (because better mid stroke support and maybe more progressive)?

Anyone put a debonair in his old nomad 2?

You can buy new tuned Debonair shocks from Suspension Experts in Asheville, NC. They usually can beat list prices. They'll know exactly what tune is necessary and provided bushings and reducers when I got mine from them.

the answer from SC tech support:
We have not tested the Monarch Plus on the Nomad 2 so I do not know what tuning will be ideal. It would certainly give you more downhill capability. I would expect it to climb about as well the RP23 shock.

I think it would be a good choice for a shock, though I don't know what tune would be best. My guess is that M/M will be best. I would consult with Rockshox on that one.
