    Mavic EX721

Does anyone know if all Mavic EX721 rims are rim brake compatible? I found a cheap set online that are blue and yes I want dorky blue rims but run rim brakes on the intended bike.

I had looked at that page but it did not provide the answer as that only seems to deal with the US market rim. I found a German site showing what may have been multiple versions of the 721 some appearing to be not rim brake compatible and I hoped someone with more knowledge than just that website would chime in.

All the years I've been selling the 721 it has had a rim brake surface.

The fact that the web page says the rim features this sorts of hints (if you read between the lines) that it might possibly have a braking surface.

Usiné Brut Control. The braking surfaces are milled to improve braking friction and eliminate shuddering.
