Manitou Marvel vs Minute, What are the major diffrences?

What is the intended riding style of each fork?

I see the Minute has a 20mm while the Marvel has a 15mm axle. Is the Marvel more XC orientated?

Does anyone have any experience with either of these two forks?

Tried a few searches on MTBR/google but to no avail

The Minute is a Trail tuned fork with a hybrid air/coil spring system. The Marvel is a XC tuned fork with a "solo air" type of spring.

So the Minute is going to handle some big hits while still having some small bump compliance?

Different spring system and compression tuning on the damper. The Marvel has a lighter spring system that gives up some adjustability compared to the Minute Pro. The compression tuning is also setup with a stronger resistance to bobbing throughout most of the adjustment range and a much stronger platform when it's locked out, but it gives up some plushness and small bump sensitivity. You can retune the compression to the Minute Pro settings with a few shims and the Manitou ABS+ tuning guide which I've seen on Google docs somewhere.

So yes, the Marvel is more XC oriented with its lighter weight and stiffer compression damper tuning.
