Looking for a new All-Mountain Bike. Oh the Humanity!

I really enjoy the Felt line up, and have only ever ridden on a Felt. Im looking to get some opinions in pricing and options.
Compulsion LT 50 - Felt Bicycles is the bike I am using as a benchmark.
1.) Are the components and main setup of the bike good for the price?
2.) Are there better options for the amount of money that could get me a better bike setup?
    Thanks in advance.

That bike looks good. A little on the high end price wise.. might be able to shave 200-300 bucks off by looking at giant or spesh. but if you like the felts go for it.

First of all, the first question to ask is what kind of riding do you do? All-Mountain is extremely vague. Do you do a lot of technical climbing? extended climbing? drops? If so, how big...2-3'?2-5'? bigger? How much do you weigh? All these factors, and more, come in to play. Give us some feedback on that and we can be more specific with some options.

However, just looking at the Felt and comparing it spec for spec, the Ibis Mojo SL in Fuglio's link is hard to beat at that price. I'm a HUGE fan of DW Link suspension bikes and if you've ever ridden one then you know why. The Giant Maestro suspension is also pretty darn good and it's sooo close to the DW Link that DW is suing Giant over it. I'm just not that high on the quality of the mass produced bikes from the industry behemoths (Giant, Trek, Specialized, etc). To be totally fair and honest, I've never ridden a Felt.

I have ridden both the Felt and the Remedy. The Remedy has a lot of features and felt a lot snappier to me. Check out the Remedy too.
