Giant reign X is one that would do well as well as pivot firebird and rocky mountain slayer.

I second the giant reign. Best bang for your buck, pedals very efficiently, and kills it on the dh's.

I've got a month on an Ibis Mojo HD and it's quite impressive. I run it with a Lyric RC2 DH@170mm and a volume spacer in the Fox. IMO, there are several that are worth consideration and they're all great bikes- Yeti SB66, Santa Cruz Nomad, Banshee Rune. Choose your material and geometry preferences and let her rip.

Judging by your username you seem to have one in mind :-) I've had my alloy version for a few months and love it! Can also confirm it goes better than a reign both up and down. Tbsm have them, not sure where else in Sydney.

I've owned all the bikes listed here and then some. I chose the specialized enduro as my keeper.

SB66 is unreal. If you like going down fast and aggressive there's nothing like it.

I found the MojoHD to be a bit like riding a horse. I hear there may be a geo update coming.

The Enduro is a great bike, but the suspension wasn't that great during the climbs up. I really liked the Giant Reign but unlike the Enduro, it climbed great, but was a bit too soft going down. Probably could have gotten that tuned out of it with a new shock, but the Yeti was perfect out of the box.

Tracer 2 or Nomad - both great do-it-all bikes that can take just about anything you throw it em.

Sounds like a Turner 5spot or Burner fits that bill.

I'm in the same boat. I've been looking at the Enduro Evo.

Problem with AM bikes is there are too many choices IMO. And I have no way of testing anything before I buy it.

Is it necessary to go coil sprung if you plan on doing park riding? I'm a smaller rider under 200lbs.

Care to give some feedback on why you chose an Enduro over the all the others? There are some impressive bikes to have owned in that list, so interested in what makes the Specialized better.

    Cheers

Of all the bikes I have ridden, the DW link is the best for me, and the best DW link bike is the Ibis HD, but you need to find the bikes in your area and find out what's best for you. Bikes are a personal decision. You might like one suspension over another, and that you need to find out for yourself.
