    Litespeed ocoee fs suspension help

Anyone out there have experience with the lower suspension on a 96ish Litespeed Ocoee FS. When I got the bike one of the caps was hanging off of the linkage where the chain stay meets the frame behind the bottom bracket. I found a screw that fit and buttoned it back up but it is really Wobbly. I think there are supposed to be some needle bearings in there?

    Thanks, Tom

Thanks - For the info. I thought I read somewhere that it used needle bearings. I will try to get a hold of litespeed or a local dealer who has actuall worked on one. One side of the unit has a cap that is screwed on but the other has a ball (lube joint?). I can get the cap off that has the screw one it with no porblem. I tried banging and pressing out the other cap with no luck. I need to see a manual sheet on it or just talk to someone who has worked on one before....

    Thanks,

    Tom

You were correct definitely get in touch with people that know the assembly. Possibly the the shaft is seized so it will be challenging to remove, a tech that has experience with the Ocoee FS may have encountered this and knows a little magic.
