Levers 10s,front derailleur 10s, chain 10s,casete10s,rear derailleur 9 will it works?

Hi, anyone knows if it will work to change the entire 10-speed transmission except change 9s rear?
I think so, but there will be one sprocket that did not work.

No, will not work. 9s and 10s pull ratios are different in both brands. Shimano, maybe you could jerry rig something. Strong on the "maybe" Sram almost certainly not.

I have 10 speed 105 brifters that work great on a 10_speed xt 11_34 cassette using a 9speed top normal xt rear d. Works like a charm.

I think if you make a good adjustment of the rear derailleur 9 has to work well. I'll try and see what happens.
